It takes a lot to stop a Jeep. It may take even more to stop the people who drive a Jeep.

The members of the Jeep Club of Western New York are camping this weekend in a parking lot, in Clarence, in December.

“You couldn't see the signs on the stores over there. So, we didn't really know where we were,” said Melissa Sauers.

“It was coming down pretty good. We had to batten everything down. We got through it,” said Scott Hemperly with the Jeep Club of Western New York.

These Jeepers aren't tough just because they feel like being tough. They're ‘freezin' for a reason.’

“Whatever people can do. Whether it's a one dollar toy or a can of peas. It's greatly appreciated,” said Hemperly.

The Jeep Club is spending the weekend outdoors in the Walmart parking lot on Transit Road to collect food and toys for Western New York military families.

“This is a really great cause to come together as a community to help those veterans and their families,” said Hemperly.

The Jeepers are going to be in Clarence until Sunday afternoon at 5:30.
