Windsong Radiology Group is now driving early detection throughout Western New York with their mobile breast cancer screening.
After receiving funding from the New York State Department of Health and Mammography Van grant from Health Research, Windsong is working collaboratively with churches, communities and healthcare partners to improve screening rates in Western New York, according to Windsong.
Windsong says they will now be able to provide services to women in all eight counties with their 3D mammography or digital breast tomosynthesis, a state of the art technology that has proven to detect smaller cancers earlier.
