You've registered to vote, you've checked out the candidates, but some voters put off one step-- looking up their polling place.

Looking up where you're supposed to go to vote in New York State is as easy as filling out an online form.

The New York State Board of Elections provides a Voter Registration Search here.

When you fill out the form and click "Search," you'll be directed to a page that shows your polling place for Tuesday's election.

You can get other useful information here too, including:

  • whether you're enrolled in a political party
  • your voter status
  • your local, state and congressional districts

You can look up who is on your ballot here.As for when you can vote, all polling sites are open on election day from 6 a.m. until 9 p.m.

If you are turned away at your polling place, you can find out what to do next here.
