Wegmans and Instacart have partnered to offer curbside grocery pickup at three locations in the Buffalo area.

Customers can order online and pick up their groceries at:

  • 675 Alberta Drive, Amherst, N.Y. 14226
  • 601 Amherst Street, Buffalo, N.Y. 14207
  • 4960 Transit Road, Depew, N.Y. 14043

How it works?

Customers log on to instacart.wegmans.com or via the Instacart app, select their items, choose a pickup time, and pay for their order.

They'll receive instructions and a phone number to call when within 10 minutes of the store.

Orders will be kept in a temperature-controlled staging area inside the store until customers arrive.

When there, customers will pull into the designated curbside pickup lane and a Wegmans employee will load their groceries.

Does this cost me extra?

Wegmans does add a price increase to items ordered for curbside pickup, which covers cost of Instacart gathering the order.

The Wegmans' McKinley store in Blasdell has had curbside pickup since February.
