Update: An Amber Alert has been issued for a missing 14-month-old boy after his mother was found dead. According to the Wayne County Sheriff, despite the alert, there is no evidence that this is an abduction.

The child's name is Owen Hidalgo-Calderon. Police say he is two-feet tall, has brown hair and eyes and weighs 30 pounds.

Police say the child was taken under circumstances that lead police to believe that he is in imminent danger of serious harm or death.

According to our Rochester affiliate WHAM, Alberto Ebavardo Gutierrez Reyes, the boyfriend of the boy's mother, was arrested on Thursday in Livingston County in connection to Selena's death; he is charged with tampering with physical evidence and is currently incarcerated.

The Wayne County Sheriff's Office said Thursday that 18-year-old Selena Hidalgo-Calderon's body was found in a bag in the woods behind a farm in Sodus where she reportedly had worked. During a press briefing on Friday, Wayne County Sheriff Barry Virts said they have not found anything significant during the day on the 350-acre farm property.

According to WHAM, Reyes told deputies he removed Hidalgo-Calerdon's body from their home and buried her in the woods, but did not admit to killing her. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Tuesday at 1 p.m.

Rebecca Fuentes of the Workers' Center of Central New York told the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle that Hidalgo-Calderon was from Guatemala and was being deported. She says the mother was in the process of applying for asylum.

The search for the child is set to resume Saturday morning.
