If an offer seems too good to be true, it probably is.

That's the case with an online scam currently going around Facebook that appears to be a promotional offer from Delta.

The offer comes from a Facebook account called Delta Air, which includes the Delta logo as its profile picture. It claims to offer users a box containing five to 10 first-class tickets to any Delta destination along with $10,000 in cash.

"Better be fast! Only 24 hours remain to claim your First Class Delta Gift Boxes!," one iteration of the fraudulent offer reads, according to myth-busting website Snopes.com. Snopes reported the offer was not operated or sponsored by Delta.

The scam urges users to first share or comment on the post in order to expand its audience, then it sends users to an external website that asks them to input personal information such as their name, address and phone number.
