You don't even need a student ID to enjoy what the University at Buffalo art gallery has to offer!

The UB Anderson Art Gallery at 1 Martha Jackson Place in the University Heights neighborhood has an extensive collection that's been donated and carefully curated. Rachel Adams, Senior Curator, says it's a little-known fact that the gallery is free and open to the public.

The newest exhibition, Light, line, color and space, displays works of art from around the world, including art from local Western New Yorkers. The pieces include modern and contemporary paintings, sculpture and photography. The exhibition plays with the themes of Light, line, color and space.

The gallery is a redesigned schoolhouse. The former classrooms now house interactive collections.

To learn more, you can check the gallery's website.

The UB Anderson Gallery is open Wednesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
