The Erie County Sheriff's Office reported a suspicious incident and warns the public about two males posing as utility workers.

On August 8th, a stocky black male and a stocky white male in their late thirties to early forties, dressed in highly visible utility style clothing and carrying two-way radios, convinced homeowners on Center Street in the Town of Colden they needed access to the property and the residence.

The suspects took cash and other valuables from the residence.

The two males were seen driving a red pickup truck with tinted windows, which resembled a Ford body style, with a yellow flashing light on the roof.

Anyone who sees this truck is asked to call the Erie County Sheriff's Office at (716) 858-2903.

Sheriff Howard is warning the public about these two individuals and urges the public not to allow these suspects in your home.
