The Erie County Sheriff's Office wants you to know driving could be slow in the Southtowns Saturday night with the Jay-Z and Beyonce concert and the Erie County Fair taking place.
Because of the concert, there will be some traffic changes. Starting at 3:00 p.m. a section of Abbott Road will be closed between the entrance to Lot 4 and Lot 2. New Era Field parking lots will open at 4:00 p.m., and at 11:00 p.m. Route 20a (Big Tree Road) will close to westbound traffic from Abbott Road to the Route 219 overpass. Cars leaving the stadium will have to travel east.
The traffic patterns are similar to Bills game day traffic. The Sheriff's Office is recommending everyone take extra time to get to the stadium and to the fair because so many people will be headed to the same area.
