All lane and ramp restrictions on Interstate 290 in the Town of Tonawanda will be removed Saturday, November 10.

The New York State Department of Transportation announced Thursday the completion of the eastbound Interstate 290 Bridge over the NFTA corridor in the Town of Tonawanda.

The lane and ramp restrictions had been in place since April as part of the first construction phase of a $6.7 million bridge replacement project.

The overall project involves the replacement of two bridges, including the eastbound and westbound structures carrying Interstate 290 over the NFTA corridor, between Delaware Avenue and Colvin Boulevard.
