Police say two homes and five cars were broken into this past week on Franklin, James and Kohler Street. Burglars entered the homes through the back door while the homeowners were asleep upstairs. In both cases, the back door was unlocked. Money, prescription pills, and in one house a pilot license was taken from the home.

Money and loose change were taken from five cars in the neighborhood.

Anyone with information is asked to call detectives at 716-692-2121 ext. 309.
