Karen Markiewicz says that after four decades of being an accountant she decided to transform her garage into a kitchen. She named the business "K Sisters" after her and her sisters Kathy and Karol. Karen says "it started with my grandmother's recipes which are over a hundred years old."

Every morning at 7am her three person crew starts pumping out pierogi. They are hand -made, one at a time. Karen says they can create as many as seven or eight hundred in one day.

At the other end of the building is the shop where fifteen varieties of fresh frozen pierogi can be purchased. Other Polish delights include Barbecued Hamburgers, sweet and sour cabbage, golabki and homemade soups.
