Tony Fucina knows his way around a pie. Tony is the "go-to" guy at the Lexington Cooperative Market on Hertel Avenue. He says "last year I think I made eight hundred pies. I was the overnight baker."
He has been making pies for twenty years and from time to time Tony teaches a pie making class. His upcoming class filled up as soon as it was announced. They plan to schedule another one for December
Tony says anyone can make a pie but admits that "it's a little intimidating because there are so many steps. There's a little technique but there's a lot of freedom."
