You may know artist Fran Brooks for her iconic "Weeping Santa". The painting she's had on her mind since the passing of George H.W. Bush is one she painted in the early 90's called "The Storm Of Tears".

The painting depicts images from the Gulf War including President Bush and General Schwarzkopf. Back when she finished the painting, Fran had prints made and sent some to the White House. Five days later she got a phone call from the White House. Her painting was a hit.

The recipients of the prints all sent thank you notes-including Dick Cheney, Colin Powell, the General and the President. President Bush wrote "thank you for your special remembrance. Your kind gesture means a great deal to me."

The call from the White House was to let her know that her gift would hang in the Bush Presidential Library.
