Jessie Massing is kind of a big deal at the Tennyson Court Assisted Living and Memory Care in Williamsville. Jessie will be celebrating her 108th birthday next week. When asked how she felt about that she said "I don't feel any different than I did when I was a hundred and seven."

This witty and wonderful woman lived on her own until about a year ago. She has the distinction of now being the oldest resident at Tennyson Court.

While she couldn't pinpoint her secret to longevity, Jessie says she's blessed with a good appetite, adding "when they ask me if I want anything more I always say yes."

And a piece of wisdom from someone who was born the same year that Mark Twain passed away...Jessie Massing said "it's nice to laugh isn't it? today we don't do it enough that's for sure."  Mark Twain couldn't have said it better.
