Bill Aumer has cooked up some high flying race excitement. His company No Limit FPV is bringing the first International Drone Race to Western New York. Bill says "we have pilots coming from all across North America".

It's called Buffalo Bando 2018 and will take place at Buffalo Riverworks where Bill and his team have laid out three separate tracks. The main event will be between sixteen pilots going head to head as they race their tiny aircrafts around and through the empty grain elevators.

Thanks to a camera mounted on the drones, a live picture is fed to the goggles that the pilots wear. Bill says "the experience is that you are actually sitting in the aircraft". That same video feed will be put into TV monitors throughout Riverworks which means that this will be a fun spectator sport.

Buffalo Bando runs June 22nd-24th more info and registration is available at their website.

Bill Aumer says he's formed a club called Buffalo Multirotor-you can find them on Facebook and at their Website.
