The film about Thurgood Marshall finished shooting its scenes in Buffalo on Friday.

The crew started filming in Niagara Falls on May 23rd and ended Friday in downtown Buffalo.  The stars of the film are leaving the Queen City very impressed.

"The experience that I've had with everybody here is everybody loves Buffalove," Kate Hudson said.

The actors and crew took the opportunity to travel around Western New York and take in the sights.

"The sight seeing ritual has taken us pretty much everywhere," Josh Gad said in Buffalo.  "I feel like I know your tourist attractions better than you do."

The actor who voiced the snowman Olaf in the popular animated film Frozen also made sure to try the city's famous chicken wings.

"The movie takes place over about five days," he explained.  "And because of your chicken wings, my character puts on an average of five pounds a day."

The film's director Reginald Hudlin was amazed with the people he met during his stay in Western New York.

"The incredible, friendly, open-armed spirit of every single person we've met here in Buffalo," he said.  "What an amazing place full of wonderful people."

The film is estimated to have brought close to $5 million into the local economy.
