Sources tell 7 Eyewitness News a drunk off duty Buffalo Police Officer was taken off a Jet Blue flight earlier in March.
NFTA Police took the female police officer off the flight, just before it took off from the Buffalo Niagara International Airport.
No criminal charges were filed against the officer.
The Buffalo Police Department says it has opened an internal investigation into this matter.
The NFTA tells 7 Eyewitness News this didn't cause any significant delays for the departing flight.
