A serious accident led to the closure of Walden Avenue between Dick and Transit Roads for several hours Saturday morning.
According to the Depew Police Department, the accident took place around 7 a.m. Saturday on Walden Avenue near Twin Fair Drive.
The accident involved a dump truck and a passenger vehicle.
Police say the roof of the passenger vehicle was removed to extract the operator.
Two people were injured, one from each vehicle, both were transported to the hospital.
No information on their status or the severity of their injuries is available at this time.
The cause of the accident is unknown, Depew Police and Fire continue to investigate.
The road was reopened around 1 p.m. Saturday.
