A new study from the Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center states being physically inactive could lead to cancer, specifically lung cancer.

The study looked at 2,000 people, both with and without cancer, and found that people who exercise once a week were less likely to have cancer.

The study showed the connection to cancer and inactivity to both men and women, and people who are normal-weight and who are overweight.

The studies were led by Kristen Moysich, PhD, MS of Roswell Park. The findings were published in the Cancer Treatment Research Communications and the European Archives of Oto-Rhino-Laryngology.
