Attorneys for survivors have released the names of 13 former priests in the Catholic Diocese of Buffalo who were accused of sexual abuse over the years. The move is being applauded by advocates for the victims who believe it will encourage others priest sex abuse survivors to come forward after several decades of living with shame.

7 Eyewitness News Reporter Ed Reilly talked with Judith Burns-Quinn, who is the Buffalo coordinator for the Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests (SNAP).  Burns-Quinn is encouraging victims to report their abuser and she hopes law enforcement will help create a procedure where that can be done without the presence of religious clerics.
