Erie County District Attorney John Flynn plans on trying a 16-year-old as an adult, after the Williamsville North student was charged with making a terroristic threat.

Flynn says he will file a motion to keep the case of the 16-year-old in criminal court.

More than a dozen Amherst Police cars, K9's, Erie County Sheriff's Deputies and police surrounded Williamsville North High School Tuesday after a bomb threat put the school on lockdown.

The threat, turned out to be a hoax, but as always was taken extremely seriously by law enforcement and the school.

Days later, a 14, 15, and 16 year old were arrested and charged with making terroristic threats.

New legislation allows Flynn to file a motion to keep the case in criminal court.

He has 30 days to file that motion.
