Political discussion group hope to unite people

Finding common ground. Despite political differences. It's what inspired Daniel Hay to help create a discussion group called Left Right Center.

"Our country is so divided," Hay said. "It's time that we made some peace and get together and tried to find some common ground."

Thirty people came together for the first discussion meeting at the Orchard Park Presbyterian Church on Thursday night. 

The goal of the group to address many of today's most pressing issues.

Among the topics tonight: the economy, capitalism and gun control. 

The group is hopeful that by starting a discussion -- others can learn how to speak and hear to each other.
