Barker woman killed in Hartland crash

A Barker woman is dead after being hit by a car who's driver allegedly did not stop at a stop sign at an intersection in the Town of Hartland on Wednesday.

According to New York State Police, Thomas M. Busch, 40, was driving north on Carmen Rd. and failed to stop at the intersection with State Route 104. 

Busch's vehicle slammed into a 2010 Nissan that was driving west on State Route 104. The driver and a passenger of the Nissan sustained multiple fractures and were taken to local hospitals. The passenger of the Nissan, Barbara A. Linker, 77 of Barker, NY succumbed to her injuries at Medina Memorial Hospital.

Busch was issued citations for failure to stop at a stop sign and unreasonable speed, both returnable to the town of Hartland Court.
