A former aide to Governor Andrew Cuomo, who lives in Buffalo, says he has received a subpoena from the US Attorney’s office in connection to the Buffalo Billion investigation.

Peter Cutler, who left the Governor’s office to become head of communications for the Erie County Medical Center, tells 7 Eyewitness News he will cooperate fully with authorities.

Investigators are looking into how the Governor’s office awarded high-priced contracts connected to the economic development program.  U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara has raised questions about improper lobbying, conflicts of interest, and no-bid contracts.

Two of Cuomo’s longtime advisers, Joseph Percoco and Todd Howe, are at the center of the probe.
