The new Chick-Fil-a in Greece, New York does not open until Thursday morning but you can already see the excitement.
WHAM 13 in Rochester reports crowds started lining up outside the new location Wednesday morning, 24 hours before the wildly popular fast food chain opens its doors for the first time.
The restaurant on West Ridge Road opens at 6:00 a.m. Thursday and the first 100 customers will get a year supply of Chick-Fil-A.
The Police Department is expecting heavy traffic so it released a plan to handle the large number of Chick-Fil-A customers.
Chick-fil-A (2140 West Ridge Rd) in Greece is opening 4/12/2018 at 6am. We expect a large number of patrons to show up which will cause heavy vehicle traffic in the area. We have implemented a traffic control plan to assist with the volume of traffic on West Ridge Rd. pic.twitter.com/Jgq6Lw6vtf

The traffic plan applies to drive-thru customers. Dine-in customers are requested to park in the northeast lot at GRC Mall. Parking area will be marked and CFA staff will assist. GPD will be on scene to assist people with crossing West Ridge.

The new Greece location is now the closest Chick-Fil-A to the Buffalo area until one opens in Cheektowagalater this year.
