Buffalo Police announced the investigation of an early Saturday morning shooting on Buffalo's West Side.
Police say the shooting happened just before 2:00 a.m. near Albany and Herkimer Streets.
A 32-year-old Buffalo male was struck by gunfire.
He was taken to ECMC where he was taken into surgery, his condition is unknown.
