7 Eyewitness News is once again teaming up with 97 Rock to collect donations for the Food Bank of Western New York. In its 13th year, Operation: Rock Out Hunger has set the goal of collecting 3,000 turkeys for families in need.

This year, DJ Jickster from 97 Rock is setting up in a new location. He'll be collecting donations in the parking lot of Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital on Maple Road in Williamsville. Visitors can drop off donations starting on Wednesday, November 14 at 2 p.m. DJ Jickster will stay at the donation site through Wednesday, November 21 at 9:30 a.m.

In addition to turkeys, DJ Jickster will also collect monetary donations and nonperishable food items.

Donations aren't limited to Operation: Rock Out Hunger. The Food Bank of WNY accepts donations of food and funds at its location at 91 Holt Street in Buffalo, Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Donations can also be dropped off from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays or online.

The Food Bank of WNY serves as many as 140,000 people in a month. More than a third are children or infants.

Operation: Rock Out Hunger is also sponsored by Kaleida Health and Ride Local and Liberty Yellow Cab.
