Cattaraugus County Sheriff's Office issued an arrest warrant for an Ohio man accused of violating Agriculture and Market laws.

Charles Brickman allegedly neglected to take care of 11 cows at his 2806 Lebanon Rd., Cold Springs property.  Deputies say Brickman failed to provide food, water, and shelter for the cows.

He also left the area and had no viable solution for the care of the animals.

An investigation has been ongoing for several months through the Sheriff's Office. State Police also received many complaints from residents in the area, saying Brickman did not have sufficient fencing to hold the cows and reports of cows wandering from the farm.

The Sheriff's Office and SPCA worked together to get these cows to a safe farm on December 30th. Authorities ask anyone who may make contact with Brickman to notify dispatch at 938-2217.

This news comes a day after another animal cruelty investigation found 85 pigs living in unsafe conditions in Ashford
