Gowanda Police say they have been unable to find any sign of a flasher reportedly spotted near the high school.

Detectives say on Friday, September 18 around 3:30 p.m., a parent reported her high school-aged daughter and a friend were talking on Panther Drive near the bus garage when her daughter saw a naked man grabbing his genitals in the woods by the dirt pile near Thatcher Brook.

The parent told police it happened around 2:30 p.m. and that the man was skinny and wearing a mask.

Gowanda and State Police responded to the area and searched for the man, but didn't find him.

The day after the incident was reported, another female student reported seeing a naked man, described him as thin with a short brown beard and short hair.

Gowanda Police say they have stepped up patrols and have looked for the suspect but have seen no sign of him.
