Toronto police are searching for a mother and daughter who have ties to Buffalo.
According to Toronto Police Detective Glen Cecile, 27-year-old Ashley Johnson and 3-year-old Nakita Johnson were last seen between two weeks and a month ago. Cecile said Ashley's aunt lives in the Buffalo area and that this behavior is extremely rare.
Investigators have received numerous tips, including one that put both in the Scarborough/Northern Ontario area as recently as March 7.
Ashley is described as 5'10'' tall, weighing 190 lbs. with long curly dark hair.
