Erie County Sheriff's Detectives arrested a minor in connection with an August 2015 burglary where two hand guns were stolen.
Deputies responded to a Colden residence after a report of two handguns stolen from a gun cabinet. The guns were stolen during a party and reported a week later when the guns were discovered to be missing.
An anonymous tip helped detectives identify a suspect and the possible whereabouts of the guns.
A search warrant took the Buffalo Police Department to a Rhode Island Street address where one of the stolen handguns was found.
On Monday, Detectives arrested a Buffalo boy for felony counts of criminal possession of a fire arm and grand larceny of a firearm.
The boy was arraigned in Town of Colden Justice Court and released into the custody of his mother.
