The North Buffalo man accused of blowing up his own home will now undergo a mental health evaluation.
73-year-old Santo Cok made a brief court appearance on Wednesday.
Cok facing arson, reckless endangerment and criminal mischief charges over last month's explosion on Covington Road.
Investigators say he disconnected a gas line and lit and candle to try and commit suicide.
The explosion destroyed Cok's home and seriously damaged two neighboring houses.
