Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown hosted a Bills pep rally in Niagara Square Friday.

"We called the pep rally because there was so much enthusiasm in the city," said Brown.

Brown encouraged city employees to wear their Bills gear to work and come to the pep rally, which transformed Niagara Square into a mini tailgate to get fans pumped up for Sunday's game against the New England Patriots.

And you know the game is a big deal when even Mayor Brown is talking trash.

"You know, with Tom Brady coming in I doubt that this ball is properly inflated," said Brown as he held a football and sported a Bills t-shirt.

"But that's okay, we're gonna take the air out of his ball anyway when we beat the Patriots on Sunday."
