A public art exhibit by a renowned artist is coming to Buffalo's Outer Harbor this summer.

On Monday, the Erie Canal Harbor Development Corporation announced "NUMBERS ONE through ZERO" by artist Robert Indiana will be installed as a temporary exhibit at Wilkeson Pointe.

The temporary installation will by placed in early June and stay on loan until October 2019. The work is composed of 10 eight-foot-high COR-TEN steel sculptures weighing close to 2,000 pounds each. The Albright-Knox Art Gallery will facilitate the loan and the exhibition of the work of public art.

The Wilkeson Pointe installation coincides with the exhibition Robert Indiana: A Sculpture Retrospective at the Albright-Knox Art Gallery this summer.
