Martin sped through traffic in an attempt to avoid police and collided with another vehicle at the intersection on Broadway and Peck Street. He was able to flee police on foot. Martin, the driver of the other vehicle and the passenger suffered minor injuries.

Police were able to track down and arrest Martin on July 8th. Investigators say they Martin in possession of a stolen EBT card that was taken along with other items from another home on William Street in Buffalo.

Martin also admitted to burglarizing a home on McKinley Parkway back on July 5th, according to investigators.

Martin plead guilty to three counts of burglary, one count of leaving the scene of an incident resulting in injury and one count of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

Martin will be sentenced on Wednesday, October 24. He faces a maximum of 45 years in prison.
