A City of Tonawanda man is facing felony charges over two separate weekend break-ins.

Police say 36-year-old Clifford B. McCarty first broke into cash boxes at the Niagara Spray and Wash on Delaware Street.  Later, investigators say McCarty targeted the United Methodist Church on Morgan Street, prying open the church's rear door. McCarty is accused of stealing a lap-top computer, gift cards and also jewelry.

According to police, McCarty admitted to having a crack-cocaine addiction and told officers he needed money.

McCarty is being held on $30,000 bail, he's due back in court on Tuesday.
