A Buffalo man is facing attempted murder charges after police say he tried to strangle a teenage girl.
Buffalo Police say a 29-year-old man came up to the 14-year-old girl while she was out in front of her Abbottsford Place home on Saturday.
Police say he began to violently choke her.
According to police, several neighbors were able to stop and subdue the man until police arrived.
The girl was taken to Women and Children's Hospital where she was treated and released.
