A Lockport family is trying its hardest to reunite two best friends.
Molly Terry is 11-years-old with spinal muscular distrophy. It essentially robs her for her motor skills. She and her cat, Elephant, are best friends.
Back in August, her Elephant got out of the house and never came back. Since then, the family has been tirelessly searching for Elephant.
Elephant is more than just a cat. While he was never trained as a service animal, he pretty much was one.
"He wasn’t afraid of any of her medical equipment he would literally lay on her belly while she was on her vest,"Jennifer Terry, Molly's mom, said.
