LOCKPORT, N.Y. (WKBW) — An industrial accident has injured a worker at Customs Crew Inc. on Old Niagara Road in Lockport.
According to police, 57-year old Allen Pichey became trapped underneath several tons of equipment. After rescue crews freed Pichey from underneath the equipment he was flown to the Erie County Medical Center via Mercy Flight.
Pichey is being treated for a leg injury.
CCI specializes in culvert cleaning and drainage, utlity construction and directional drilling.
The Niagara County Sheriff's Office and the Occupational Health and Safety Administration are investigating.
