BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — March is Women's history Month and now there's a new book celebrating the remarkable women of the Queen City!

It's called "Women in the City of Good Neighbors." The coffee table book showcases 42 women who've dedicated their lives to making Western New York a better place to live and work.

The hope is that it will inspire readers to continue the trend.

"We have some pretty young women in the book," says author Jackie Albarella. "And I hope that young women see not only the young women in the book but the older women that are passionate about what they believe in."

An all-female committee selected the women featured in the book.

It costs $40 and all proceeds go to the Suneel's Light Foundation, who published the book.
