BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — A 47-year-old woman has plead guilty to one count of attempted murder and one count of tampering with physical evidence.

Prosecutors say Vivian Rodriguez let an attacker into her boyfriend's home in Buffalo. The attacker attempted to strike the victim with a machete, but was killed by the victim.

According to prosecutors, Rodriguez removed the victim's security camera from the victims home and placed it in her car in an attempt to eliminate any video evidence.

Rodriguez faces up to 25 years in prison. She is scheduled to be sentenced Monday, March 25th.
