Second man indicted for attempted murder in Jamestown

JAMESTOWN, N.Y. (WKBW) — A second man has been indicted by a Chautauqua County grand jury in connection with a drive-by shooting in Jamestown.

It happened in the early morning hours of January 30 at the corner of North Main Street and West Ninth Street.

Police said Rasul Bonds, 30, and Corey Johnson, 19, fired a shot from a vehicle towards a group of three men walking down North Main Street. One man was hit in the face by the bullet, causing a serious injury.

Bonds and Johnson were indicted on three counts of attempted murder and one count of first-degree assault.
