BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — A North Tonawanda man who volunteers at the Buffalo Central Terminal is looking to bring light back to the national historic landmark.

Chris Gurnett has started a GoFundMe to bring back Buffalo Central Terminal's light fixtures.

According to the GoFundMe, in the 1980s and 1990s the Terminal was stripped of all of its antique ART Deco light fixtures.

The light fixtures have been found all around the world, but there is an opportunity to get them back.

Several of the light fixtures have been found at the Rago Auction House in New Jersey.

Gurnett is looking for donations cover the cost to buy the lights and bring them back to the Terminal, and travel expenses.

Any additional funds will be donated to the Central Terminal Restoration Corporation.
