BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Elmwood Avenue may have a new destination for wing lovers on the horizon. 7EWN has learned that Duff's Famous Wings has been in negotiations regarding a potential location on Elmwood Avenue.
Nothing has been finalized and details on the exact location on Elmwood are still unclear, but Duff's has been looking for location in the City of Buffalo for more than a year.
"Elmwood is a hot spot that we've been keeping an eye on for awhile now," Greg Duell the co-owner of the Duff's location in the Eastern Hills Mall tells 7EWN. Duell says he is teaming up with the owners of the original Duff's location on Sheridan Drive, and the owner of the Duff's on Dick Road, on potential plans to bring a restaurant to Elmwood Avenue.
Duff's Famous Wings currently has eight locations in the United States. The original Duff's on Sheridan Drive and Millersport Highway in Amherst first served wings in 1969 according the company website.
