An annual holiday tradition in the Village of Lancaster is in jeopardy of not happening this year.

William Cansdale, superintendent of the department of public works for the village says last year's November storm seriously damaged the light used for the Christmasville display on West Main Street.

The village is looking at a price tag of about $15,000 to replace the lights.

Cansdale asked the village board to meet Tuesday evening to see if they can appropriate the funds to pay for new lights.
