Four years ago a small mom and pop diner moved into a strip mall right off of Walden Avenue in Lancaster--

"Well everybody has a dream," Robin Finsterbach--better known as "Aunt Robin"--said.  Almost immediately after opening her doors, she began giving back.

"It's not like we can say good-bye that's it. We're committed and we just try to do everything," she said.  And that everything, well it's through food.

"We're just a small little diner trying to help where we can."

"Aunt Robin" offers free brown bag lunches for kids during the summer, free Thanksgiving turkey meals and free Christmas ham dinner--all on the house.  This past Thanksgiving "Aunt Robin" fed 80 neighbors, hoping her small act of kindness encourages others to do the same.

"It just makes you feel good inside and I hope we did the same for them."  Through her own past experiences, "Aunt Robin" understands what some people are going through these days.

"I want people not to feel like they don't have a choice."

Her 21-year-old daughter, Bridget Crooks, helps run the diner. "She is really my role model. Ever since I was little, she always told me to give back," Crooks said fighting back tears.

"Aunt Robin" responded: "I mean everybody else can say, 'Oh you're doing a good job and I'm proud of you.' But when your kids, the little people I raised to be adults, say you made me proud...who needs something other than that?"

This Christmas "Aunt Robin," her children and her waitresses will pack in to her diner to make new friends over Christmas dinner.
