Sunday marked the first home game for the Bills. That means that the Bills Mafia and tailgating are back at New Era field.

Bills fans said they are happy football is back at Orchard Park.

"We're like family, and we always stick together with the Bills through thick and through thin."

It was an unseasonably warm day for it to almost be the start of Fall. That meant there was plenty of beer, burgers, and sunburnt skin in the parking lots of New Era Field.

It was also the first game that table-smashing was banned. 7 Eyewitness News did not witness any first hand; however, videos have surfaced online of fans breaking tables.

The first home game always has a special feeling to it. That's why some fans traveled across the country to get to this game.

"We came from California for this game."

7 Eyewitness News actually met a few fans who were from California. For one group of West Coasters, this game was also a family reunion.

"I bring my kids and grandkids back to meet some of their 44 cousins."

Bills Mafia will have to wait two weeks for its next chance to tailgate. The next home game is October 7th.
