Hospital unveils new specialized ambulance designed to transport premature newborns

In honor of EMS week, Oishei Children's Hospital  unveiled a specialized ambulance designed to help out their neonatal team.

The hospital teamed up with American Medical Response (AMR) and Kaleida Health to create an ambulance designed to transport premature newborns in need of special care.  

According to Oishei Children's Hospital, the Neonatal Transport Team is responsible for the safe transfer of, on average, 300 critically-ill or premature babies each year.
