Here's where Buffalo graduates move to after college

College grads are exploring new career opportunities and for many new cities. Some metro areas have much greater drawing power for new graduates. 

The Wall Street Journal has created a new database of 445 colleges across the country. The website shares information about where majority of graduates at each college like Buffalo State College move to after college. 

Over all the data shows that small metros lose out to big cities in gaining college graduates. But some like Buffalo Buck the trend. 

According to the Wall Street Journals, 82 percent of students who graduate from college in Buffalo live in one of 70 major cities in the United States, while 17 percent move to smaller rural communities. However, nearly half of all Buffalo college graduates remain in Buffalo.
